"Irish fans pull together to help mugged Austrians

There are an estimated 3,000 Austrian fans in Dublin for Tuesday night's World Cup qualifier against Ireland and all travelled hoping to sample the famous Irish hospitality.
However, for two Austrians it looked like the trip was turning into a disaster as they were mugged while travelling to visit the Guinness Storehouse on Monday.
The two unnamed men in their thirties had their match tickets and money stolen - but Irish football fans were not going to allow the fans to leave with a negative impression of the country.
Instead, the news quickly spread around social media sites and fans decided to chip in and help the Austrian fans out.
A collection was started on popular fans forum YBIG (You Boys In Green) and dozens of fans promised donations.
Collections have also been arranged before the game and such has been the uptake in support that the group expects to raise more money than the Austrian fans lost in the mugging.
The Football Association of Ireland has also issued replacement tickets for the two fans so they can watch the game.
For their part, the Austrians who were attacked have agreed to donate any money raised past the amount they lost in the mugging to Irish charities.
What’s more, Irish fans took the Austrian fans out for a night out in Dublin's city centre where they were said to have enjoyed 'a rake of free pints'."
